Damn, but the Classics need more people like you. At all levels. All these self-satisfied arrogant more-Latinate-than-thou varieties sitting in their tenured positions and patting themselves on the back for being oh-so-much better educated than anyone else, and turning out Classics graduates who can't bloody well READ the languages they've been studying for years, it's nauseating. And, frankly, I strongly suspect that the people who profess to be keeping Latin alive are the main reason it's a dead language now.
If Latin had had more teachers like you in the last 200 years or so, can you just imagine what the world might be looking like?
