Ok, so I just had this wild idea to google Latin Madlibs and found this:
http://www.madglibs.com/showglib.php?glibid=101
And then I discovered where to create them:

And so I've been messing around with one on my own --no place to put it yet.... I wonder if I can put it here?
Let's try:

God knows if you can get back to this page. But let's say this might work. I was brainstorming that if I had one of these per stage for CLC, I could have students do them for extra credit, print them off, translate the results, get a parent to sign off and then turn it in (for the extra credit).
Just a thought.
I don't particularly like all the ads and such, but then I'm using someone else's intellectual property so I might as well give credit where credit is due.
But let's think this through a bit... Let's say I have all of these linked onto a home page for Mad Glibs, as these are called. In a paragraph next to the link to the particular Mad Glib for the stage, I could have a quickie review of the grammar in question: nominative singulars, etc.
And all of this reminds me that I wanted to work up some stuff at FlashMyBrain for my classes.
I can't seemed to get focused and productive. A storm is coming, but it still isn't into our county (I'm watching the radar). I'm feeling not very productive at all.
But back to the Mad Glibs. Can you imagine doing these for a passage of Vergil? Might be amusing.
But I have so many projects I should be focusing hard on. I should be working hard on. And I'm just not. I need to get back to my card playing stuff, esp since I'm presenting next fall at ACTFL. Then there's this AP workshop coming up in a week or so. And now I've been asked to service on a committee to revise certification exams for Latin. Nuts.
And I'm sitting here having a totally unproductive, unrewarding day. Unless, of course, the above Mad Glib works. Time to try it out.
