Ok, it's my blog, I can do some self-promotion. I've been making more mini-buttons. I *like* the mini-buttons. STUDENTS like the mini-buttons. And, they are great for conferences. I took a bunch to CAMWS last spring, pinned them to business cards, and gave them away as a promotional stunt. (Frankly, I bet I never make any money because I spend as much buying and giving away stuff like that or printing business cards, etc.)
BUT I DON'T MAKE THEM TO MAKE MONEY. Remember, I'm a teacher. I can't be in it for the money; it would be against my code of ethics. Har har.
Seriouisly, though, tell me if these aren't neat?

Really, take a look. There's traditional sayings (CARPE DIEM, TEMPUS FUGIT, VENI VIDI VICI) and non-traditional stuff (NESCIO, NOLI ME VEXARE, EHEU! UBI EST SPONGIA MEA IN FUSTE?), not to mention a few snappy phrases from real authors (EST RIDICULUS!/Cicero, QUID TIBI?/Martial, BABAE PAPAE TATAE/Plautus, DUX FEMINA FACTI/Vergil (2 versions!), ARMA VIRUMQUE CANO/Vergil. Then there are some nice expletives: EUGEPAE!, EHEU!, QUIDQUID).
Fun on a t-shirt, nice on a lapel, great on a backpack.
